DevOps Specialist

Insight Global is seeking a DevOps Specialist for one of North America's leading sensing technologies companies. This organization designs and manufactures advanced sensing technologies used in a wide range of industrial, defense, and commercial applications. This role will be working within the Software Development Kit Team and the resource will have a strong background in SDET practices. The SDK team supports the development and deployment of software tools that enable seamless integration with imaging systems. This role will support and evolve the CI/CD infrastructure, which currently operates on physical servers across Windows, Linux, and macOS platforms. The DevOps Specialist will also lead the phased migration to a cloud-based DevOps environment while maintaining high standards of code quality and system reliability.

Must Haves:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in DevOps engineering with a strong SDET background
• Proficiency with Jenkins, Docker, and AWS services (e.g., CodeBuild)
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Perl
• Experience with build systems such as CMake and package managers like vcpkg
• Familiarity with Jira for task tracking and Bitbucket for source control
• Solid understanding of CI/CD best practices and infrastructure automation

Plusses:

• Experience working with physical hardware in test environments
• Background in machine vision or security camera systems is a strong advantage
• For testing, ISTQB course
