🧭 About the Project

A major player in the Belgian healthcare ecosystem is seeking a Network & Security Consultant to strengthen their internal infrastructure team.

The role involves managing a complex and high-availability network environment, including datacenter operations, WAN/LAN/WLAN infrastructure, VPNs, cloud-connectivity, and modern security layers.

Your initial focus will be on LAN/WAN operations, with opportunities to take ownership of projects and contribute to long-term infrastructure strategy.

🛠️ Your Responsibilities

🔹 Network Operations & Incident Management

• Manage daily operations across Cisco Nexus, Meraki SD-WAN, Checkpoint firewalls, VPN, F5, Infoblox, Ivanti
• Handle 24/7 incident resolution (L1–L3) in a mission-critical data environment
• Ensure network availability, performance, and compliance with IT security standards

🔹 Project Delivery & Automation

• Deploy and maintain LAN/WAN/WLAN and datacenter solutions
• Automate routine operations through scripting
• Keep infrastructure documentation up to date and accurate

🔹 Support & Collaboration

• Provide domain expertise during incidents or changes
• Work with other technical teams and stakeholders to drive network improvements
• Contribute to a secure, modern, and scalable network landscape

✅ Profile We're Looking For

🧰 Technical Expertise

• 5+ years experience in network & security engineering, ideally in large-scale environments
• Hands-on with:
• Cisco Nexus (VXLAN is a plus)
• Meraki SD-WAN, LAN, WLAN
• Checkpoint, VPN, F5, Infoblox
• Cloud networking experience is a must
• Scripting and automation mindset
• Familiarity with backup & storage is a plus

🌐 Language Requirements
