You’ll be responsible of
- Calculating the emissions of loan portfolio, and participating in the projects developed to determine emission intensity targets at sectoral/portfolio levels,
- Developing models and methodologies required for measuring climate risks such as physical risk and transition risks, and conducting stress testing for these risks,
- Preparing reports on climate risk assessments at all levels in compliance with regulatory standards (e.g. BRSA regulations, CDP guidances) and best practices (e.g. publications of EBA),
- Contributing to developing processes of data collection to measure financial impacts of climate change in line with PCAF (Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials) and other international standards, e.g. TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) and SBTi (Science Based Targets Initiative), and tracking carbon footprint of the portfolios financed through these processes,
- Collaborating with various functional teams effectively to integrate climate risk into general credit risk framework of the Bank,
- Considering that the Bank plans to participate in initiatives such as NZBA (Net-Zero Banking Alliance) to comply with international climate commitments and strengthening practices for climate risk management accordingly,
- Supporting other fields on credit risk management when necessary.
We are asking for:
- Having a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics or Ecological/Sustainability Sciences,
- Having advanced analytical thinking and attention to detail skills,
- Having a good command of written and spoken English,
- Having the skill to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Maximum 3 years' experience in credit risk management or a similar field,
- Preferably knowledge and experience in climate risk,
- Preferably being familiar with regulations on risk management,
