About the Role



Kaleris is seeking a Software Engineer to join our talented team in building the next generation of our products at Kaleris. In this position, you will have an opportunity to make major contributions to our next generation transportation and logistics software products and application features. You'll collaborate closely with colleagues to outline project requisites and build state-of-the-art software and applications. Demonstrating a rapid learning ability and possessing strong communication skills is essential.



Responsibilities



  • Analyze functional requirements, design and develop software programs to specifications
  • Provide technical support for both new and existing product features
  • Design & maintain user interfaces, algorithms, data structures, test cases, and test suites for new/old functional modules of Kaleris products
  • Communicate status of ongoing development efforts to supervisors in India & USA


Qualifications



  • BE/BTech/MCA/MSC IT with 1-3 years of experience


Required Skills



  • Strong knowledge of and experience with object-oriented methodologies, enterprise application architectures, and design patterns
  • Expert Knowledge of application development using Java
  • Experience in creating RESTful applications using Spring Boot deployed on a public cloud environment like AWS and/or Azure
  • Highly experienced with software development processes, and in particular, software design and unit/integration testing using JUnit
  • Good understanding of application software, secure coding, scalability, performance, and reliability aspects
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, test-driven, collaborative, and iterative programming environment. Experience with agile development approaches is a plus
  • A highly motivated individual, who is ready to accept challenges, continually innovate and learn, and help others
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Experience with relational database management systems and No SQL like Cassandra
  • Experience with messaging technologies like Kafka, and JMS
  • Experience with open-source frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Integration is a plus
