Senior IT Business Analyst – Source to Pay

Contract: Daily rate

Location: Dublin (Hybrid – 2-3 days on-site per week)

Are you a skilled IT Business Analyst with a strong understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes?

We are seeking a Lead IT Business Analyst with expertise in Supply Chain Processes – this is an essential requirement of this contract role.

The role partners closely with stakeholders across the supply chain and IT to review business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and deliver on the application roadmap. The scope is Global solutions, so you will need to be an experienced IT Business Analyst with expertise in the Supply Chain functional area & also have multinational organisation experience (ie. Have worked previously in a large matrix org).

What You’ll Do:

• Lead engagements with key stakeholders across Global Supply Chain (S2P) P2P and IT / Technology, leading requirements gathering, process optimisation and BA outputs.
• Lead the creation and validation of business and functional requirements.
• Mentor junior analysts and guide best practices for documentation.
• Collaborate with business teams to identify challenges and opportunities for improvement.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops, interviews, and process mapping.
• Optimize Source to Pay (S2P) processes through data-driven insights and analysis.
• Drive projects through discovery, design, testing, and deployment phases.
• Act as a liaison between business units and IT to ensure alignment.

What You’ll Bring:

• 7+ years of experience in Business Analysis, with at least 2 years in a senior role as a Senior IT BA or Lead BA
• Strong knowledge of Source to Pay (procurement, supplier onboarding, Purchase order (PO) management), Procure to pay, procurement & supply chain processes.
• Supply Chain Management (SCM) and related applications knowledge (eg. SAP Ariba)
• Proven experience in business process modelling and requirements management.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency in tools like Visio, Power BI, Focus Build.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Bonus Points / Preference for additional:

• Experience in high-tech manufacturing.
• Certifications in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Agile (Scrum Master, Product Owner).
• Experience with Big Four consultancies.

Contract rate: €500-550pd (max doe)

Contract duration: 6 months, extendable

Work Location : Dublin

Work environment: Hybrid - 2-3 days on-site per week
