Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Sciences or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of experience in software development and delivery (SDLC).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML and agent-based architecture design.
• 5+ years in a technical leadership role (e.g., CTO, Lead Architect) within a software product environment.
• Proven track record with at least:
• 1 reference project in machine learning.
• 2 reference projects in generative AI (including at least one involving agentic AI).
• Strong expertise in API integration, tool orchestration, and function calling.
• Proficient in vector databases, prompt engineering, and RAG-based systems.
• Solid background in DevOps, CI/CD, cloud observability, and software tooling integration.
• Skilled in analyzing and engineering data workflows.
• Familiar with agile methodologies and DevOps metrics (e.g., DORA).
• Fluent in English and Dutch or French.
• Hybrid work arrangement: 1 day/week onsite, 1 day/week remote.
