ICT Project Manager – Large-Scale Agile Delivery

About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with a major government agency to deliver complex, large-scale ICT initiatives that will shape the future of public digital services.

We're looking for a seasoned ICT Project Manager with a strong track record in leading technical delivery across system integration, mobile applications, and enterprise platforms. This role requires experience across Agile/SAFe environments, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with business, cyber, and technical streams.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end technical delivery for major system implementation projects.
• Plan, manage, and execute project schedules, aligning dependencies across architecture, testing, DevOps, and business readiness.
• Co-ordinate technical solution planning with internal stakeholders and delivery partners.
• Oversee agile sprint delivery with Product Owners, RTEs, and Scrum teams.
• Represent the project in ICT Change Management and release governance processes.
• Apply DevOps practices to improve quality and reliability—release automation, synthetic testing, and regression pipelines.
• Ensure all technology delivery meets cybersecurity, architecture, and accessibility standards.
• Manage project risks, issues, and decisions in line with standard PM tools and frameworks.
• Foster a high-performing delivery environment, championing continuous improvement.

Your Experience

• 8–10+ years' experience leading complex ICT projects, including mobile application delivery.
• Recent and deep experience with contemporary project management methodologies (Agile, SAFe, Prince2).
• Project delivery experience within large scale environments.
• Tertiary qualifications in ICT, Business, or related fields.
• Industry certification in project management (e.g. Diploma of Project Management, SAFe).
• Proven track record in agile delivery at scale.
