We are looking for a Development Lead to join our Securities Operations IT group, which supports and develops all the systems involved in the post-trade processing of Securities transactions globally responsible for migrating post-trade related applications.

Responsibilties

  • Be involved with migration of critical applications including server procurement,environment setup, development, testing and releases, and will manage Jdk, Perl and Cpan upgrades
  • Research and resolve compatibility issue during software upgrades or migration of component/s from one environment to another
  • Manage external integration (multiple inbound and outbound feeds)
  • Autosys new job setup, dependency changes, consolidation etc
  • Lead team during migrations and deployments and resolving issues (including
  • LINUX, TIBCO EMS, IBM MQ, Sybase, Web application to Apache/Tomcat, Oracle to DBaaS)
  • Prepare release artifacts and represent team in Change Control Board review and prepare artifacts for Business review and sign-off

Your team

Your job will involve working in a team of dedicated software delivery

professionals, taking a leading role in the migration of components. You will be

part of the Securities Operations IT team in Nashville responsible for:

  • standardizing and streamlining the IT Infrastructure
  • utilizing latest tech stack to perform upgrades and migration using service models such as PaaS, DBaaS and IaaS
  • identifying opportunities for cost saving and optimization of infrastructure

Experience And Skills

  • 8+ years software development experience
  • Strong (minimum 5 years) Java Development skills in J2SE/J2EE applications and extensive experience in Spring and Hibernate frameworks
  • Hands-on experience on JAVA multithreading environment and experience with tools such as Eclipse/IntelliJ, GitHub, TOAD/SQL-Developer and experience on Oracle and Sybase databases
  • hands-on experience in Autosys job scheduler and in version control system like GIT and SVN
  • Good working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and basic understanding in Network infrastructure setup with external system, and good knowledge on Apache and Tomcat and WebSphere setup in Linux environment
  • Good knowledge on Perl and Shell scripting and on SQL, PL/SQL and able to analyze/debug stored procedures
  • Good working knowledge on messaging services like TIBCO EMS and IBM MQ and on build tools like Ant, Maven and Gradle
  • Experience in SDLC management tool such as JIRA and in code deployments, productions releases and go-live support
