Python Developer

We are looking for a Software Engineer II to help a team in designing, developing, and delivering risk assessment software solutions with a high level of innovation.

Job Title: Systems Engineer II

Job Duration: 24 months

Job Location: Toronto, Canada (Hybrid with 3 days a week from office)

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience in Python, who is well-versed in both front-end and back-end development.
• Hands-on experience with web development frameworks like Flask and front-end technologies such as React.
• Full-stack role with Python (Flask) backend and hands-on React frontend experience.
• AWS is used, but any cloud experience is flexible.
• ETL knowledge in Python is a plus, not required.
• Focus is primarily on strong development skills.
• Strong understanding of backend systems, including database interactions and job database structures.
• Data retrieval experience with wide range of data store technologies – Postgres, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, Kafka etc., is a plus.

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position is CA$50/hr to CA$60/hr on T4.
