JavaScript Technical Lead

Role Description

As a Javascript Technical Lead at Eeze Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in developing and coordinating the development of cross-browser web applications for the gaming industry. Using technologies such as TypeScript, React, Redux, Vite, Zustand you will contribute to our modular front-end architecture while leading a team of talented developers. This role is suited for a seasoned engineer with proven leadership experience, a strategic mindset, and the ability to make autonomous decisions that shape our product and platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to technology strategies, roadmaps, and reviews, providing innovative solutions and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and toolsets.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of front-end developers through regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and goal-setting, fostering a culture of continuous learning and ownership.
• Develop functional, rich front-end applications using React and TypeScript for our in-house or client gaming products.
• Collaborate with product management, back-end, DevOps, and QA to align technical strategy with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Create and maintain documentation while implementing best coding practices and adhering to standards.

Main Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on JavaScript/TypeScript development, including 3+ years leading technical teams or projects.
• Deep understanding of front-end architecture: monorepos, module federation, dynamic configuration, and micro-frontends.
• Strong foundation in software engineering principles (SOLID, DRY, YAGNI) and functional programming paradigms.
• Familiarity with modern build tools (Vite, ESBuild), and CSS-in-JS or utility-first styling (Tailwind/SCSS).
• Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of version control systems and tooling, such as Git and Gitlab.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with gaming products is a plus.
• Experience working with in-house frontend libraries built on private npm registries is a plus.
• Familiarity with real-time communication (WebSockets, SSE), binary protocols, and video-stream synchronization is a plus.
