DevOps Engineer

Job Title: DevOps Analyst – Lean & Agile

Location: Bucharest, Romania

Overview:

We are seeking a DevOps Analyst with a solid foundation in Lean and Agile methodologies to join our client’s team in Bucharest, Romania. This role demands hands-on experience in application software integration, DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand customer requirements and project KPIs
• Implement and manage development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
• Plan team structure and activities; contribute to project management
• Set up and maintain DevOps tools and required infrastructure
• Define and streamline development, testing, release, and support processes
• Review, verify, and validate software code
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs efficiently
• Continuously monitor lifecycle processes and suggest improvements
• Automate manual processes wherever possible
• Apply cybersecurity measures, perform risk assessments, and manage vulnerabilities
• Manage incidents and conduct root cause analysis
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers
• Deploy and manage appropriate CI/CD tools and pipelines
• Drive continuous integration and deployment initiatives
• Mentor and guide team members on DevOps best practices
• Track KPIs and ensure excellent customer experience
• Provide periodic progress reports to management and clients.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 5 years of DevOps experience
• Strong command of DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Git, Kubernetes)
• Practical understanding of Agile and Lean practices
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipeline creation and management
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus
• Background in scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python)
• Proficient in incident and change management
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical mindset focused on efficiency and continuous improvement
