Role: Golang Developer

Location: Mclean, VA (Onsite, locals only)

Contract: 6 months

  • Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable web applications using React (front-end) and GoLang (back-end).
  • Build and support critical systems of record for essential financial services, ensuring high availability and data integrity.
  • Develop front-end applications with React.js, utilizing Redux, Hooks, and TypeScript (preferred).
  • Build robust and efficient APIs and microservices using GoLang.
  • Integrate front-end and back-end components, including working with RESTful APIs and database systems (relational/NoSQL).
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, QA, and other developers.
  • Ensure applications comply with security standards and relevant financial industry regulations.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to team’s continuous improvement efforts.
  • Troubleshoot and proactively resolve production issues.
  • Prior experience in financial services or systems of record strongly preferred.
