Are you an experienced System Engineer with a passion for Azure and cloud infrastructure? Do you enjoy leading complex projects and steering external IT suppliers? If so, we’re looking for you!

As Senior System Engineer, you’ll take the lead in designing, implementing, and managing a modern, Azure-based IT landscape. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, project managers, the Azure architect and third-party service providers to ensure seamless integration, performance and innovation in our cloud environment. Your role is key in our journey toward a fully Azure cloud-based infrastructure.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior System Engineer, you’ll play a central role in the evolution of our IT infrastructure. You’ll not only ensure the stability and performance of our core systems, but also drive strategic cloud transformation projects. From managing external partners to mentoring team members, this role blends technical depth with leadership and vision. You:

• Ensure continuity and availability of core IT infrastructure services, including lifecycle management.
• Lead and deliver projects such as company integrations and migrations to Azure.
• Manage and participate in daily operations and project-related activities.
• Guide and manage third-party IT service providers.
• Provide hands-on engineering support where needed.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
• Advise IT management on technical and strategic matters.
  
  
  

What You’ll Need

• 5+ years of experience as a system engineer or in a comparable role.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with Azure File Services, Hyper-V, Entra ID, DNS, and Virtual Machines.
• Experience with Azure automation.
• Understanding of security and compliance standards.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. AZ-104, AZ-305) are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A proactive, analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and managing change.
