Job Title: Full Stack Developer - AWS Serverless Applications

Location: Remote (EU-based only)

Contract Type: Freelance

Working Method: 100% Remote (no travel required)

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our clients Agile team (PAG DPP ART KAS), developing a suite of interconnected applications supporting the end-to-end vehicle production to customer delivery process. The systems are cloud-native, running primarily on AWS with a focus on serverless architectures. This is a remote, long-term opportunity to work on impactful and modern applications in a collaborative Agile environment (SAFe framework).

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop full stack web applications using React and TypeScript on the frontend
Develop backend services using Node.js (TypeScript) and/or Java (Spring Boot, Quarkus)
Define and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK (TypeScript)
Build and maintain serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, AuroraDB
Implement microservices and event-driven systems using Apache Kafka, SNS, SQS, and EventBridge
Containerize and deploy applications with Docker on Amazon ECS and ECR
Manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD (pipelines, runners, strategies)
Ensure system observability, performance, and security using IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and X-Ray
Document architecture, APIs, and reusable AWS components
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices

Core Technical Skills

Strong proficiency with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Java
Hands-on experience with REST APIs and modern frontend frameworks
Solid experience with cloud-native and Docker-based application development
Familiarity with DevOps workflows and automation

AWS & DevOps Expertise

Infrastructure as Code: AWS CDK (TypeScript)
Serverless Architecture: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, SQS
Containerization: Docker, ECS (Fargate), ECR
CI/CD: GitLab CI/CD
Monitoring & Security: IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS X-Ray

Nice to Have

Experience working within Agile Scrum teams under the SAFe framework
Background in automotive, logistics, or supply chain applications
Participation in PI Planning and Agile ceremonies
