Junior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Allocate, manage, and troubleshoot public cloud (AWS) server resources.
2. Ensure the stable operation of company business systems.
3. Build, design, and develop automated operations platforms, monitoring and alert systems, and capacity management systems.
4. Research and implement new DevOps technologies and methodologies to continuously improve operational efficiency and quality.
5. Provide network and desktop support for company colleagues in Europe.
6. Maintain a 24/7 on-call support capability.

Qualifications

1. Over three years of experience in internet operations, preferably with large-scale network services, and proficient in AWS/Azure.
2. Familiar with network devices such as routers, switches, and load balancers, and capable of network maintenance and troubleshooting.
3. Proficient in using operational tools such as Grafana, Jenkins, GitLab, OpenVPN, OpenLDAP, etc.
4. Knowledgeable in Layer 4 and Layer 7 load balancing principles and configuration, such as HAProxy and NGINX.
5. Skilled in writing Shell or Python scripts, with an understanding of deploying and optimizing databases like MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
6. Strong security awareness with the ability to preemptively address and quickly respond to internet security threats.
7. Familiar with Kubernetes, Docker container deployment and operations, and have a solid understanding of DevOps principles.
8. Bilingual in English and Chinese is a must.
