About The Role

As a Data Scientist at Qred, you’ll be a part of a Data Science team in the Product Organisation, where the Data Scientists collaborate with every part of the organisation. The team is led by an Engineering Manager, to make sure everyone is included, listened to, aligned, and heading in the same direction.

We are revolutionizing the SME lending space, and we need to keep a high pace and think in weeks rather than years. We believe in and encourage testing and trying new things, and think it's positive to learn from failures and move forward.

We like to use the term “full stack data science”, meaning that you would own projects end-to-end. This includes doing the following:

• Data Collection, Feature Engineering and Preprocessing:
• Identify and collect relevant data with a focus on quality.
• Engineer features and preprocess data for robust model development.
• Model Development and Deployment:
• Develop, evaluate, and deploy statistical/machine-learning models.
• Integrate models into scalable systems.
• Collaboration with other teams and departments:
• Work closely with other competences, translating requirements into actionable tasks.
• Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD):
• Use CI/CD processes for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Ensure reliability and maintainability of deployed models.
  

Here’s what we are looking for:

• Educational background from a quantitative field, such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering etc
• Proven experience with SQL and are either fluent in Python or some other modeling language such as R or SAS and have a desire to learn Python.
• You have previously been involved in implementing machine learning models into a production environment.

A few last things

This is a full-time, permanent position based from our office in Stockholm (Drottninggatan 98). While we encourage a hybrid setup, we do expect you to be at least three days per week at the office.
