Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse UK and European Gas markets, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain forecasting models for demand, generation, and pricing.
• Support power trading activities with real-time insights and data-driven recommendations.
• Monitor regulatory and policy developments impacting the energy sector.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data analytics and reporting tools.

What They’re Looking For:

• Strong analytical skills with experience in data modelling, coding (Python/R/SQL), or power system analytics.
• Knowledge of UK and European Gas markets, including trading mechanisms and regulations.
• 2+ years of fundamental Gas analytics experience
• Proficiency in working with large datasets and visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI).
• A proactive mindset, keen attention to detail, and the ability to communicate insights effectively.
• A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or similar).
