We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to strengthen our Social & Healthcare Unit team.

Project Description:

You will have the opportunity to define the architecture and create from scratch a robust, accessible, reliable and safe system with the most current development technologies and methodologies (PHP 8.4, PostegreSQL, GIT), to support the management of the Application Process of the External Assessment Tests of Basic and Secondary Education, a project with high impact for society and for the development of the country.

Required Competences:

• +4 years of experience in software development
• Proven experience in developing Full Stack applications in PHP (version 7 or 8)
• Proven experience in HTML/CSS/JavaScript development.
• Proven experience in using PostgreSQL or MySQL database (modelling data structure to ensure efficiency and optimisation, creating procedures, events, triggers, and functions). 
• Deep knowledge of OOP (object-oriented programming), design patterns, clean code, and PSR. 
• Experience in REST API implementation and integration.
• Good knowledge of GIT, MVC pattern, and Agile methodology.
• Autonomy, sense of responsibility, proactivity, and team spirit.
• Availability for hybrid model (1 or 2x week at our headquarters or client in Lisbon).

Preferred Competencies:

• Experience in JavaScript. Experience in jQuery library and/or Vue.JS framework is valued.
