About the Role:
A leading bank based in Brussels is looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join its Trading team. In this role, you will be at the heart of a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contributing to the development of high-performance trading systems that serve a large and growing customer base.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and other technology teams to deliver scalable and robust solutions, ensuring performance, security, and availability are at the core of everything we build.

A leading bank based in Brussels is looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join its Trading team. In this role, you will be at the heart of a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contributing to the development of high-performance trading systems that serve a large and growing customer base.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and other technology teams to deliver scalable and robust solutions, ensuring performance, security, and availability are at the core of everything we build.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain .NET-based applications for trading and order management systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including traders, analysts, QA, and DevOps.
- Deliver high-performance, low-latency solutions that can operate under heavy transactional loads.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architectural decisions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in software engineering.
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend development with C#/.NET (Framework and Core).
- Experience building distributed systems and working with microservices architecture.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and event-driven design.
- Solid experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework, and LINQ.
- Familiarity with messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and DevOps tooling (CI/CD pipelines, Git, Azure DevOps).
- Knowledge of financial markets or trading systems is highly desirable.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
