(Junior) Java Software Developer (SaaS Communication Tool)

As a (Junior) Software Developer (m/f/d), you’ll play a key role in designing and building scalable systems that optimize and automate modern customer interaction processes.

This is a full-time role based in Vienna, offering a dynamic mix of hands-on development, technical innovation, and close collaboration within an agile, interdisciplinary team.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop full-stack software applications using Java and Angular/TypeScript
• Evaluate and integrate external APIs with a focus on reliability and performance
• Actively participate in agile development processes including planning, documentation, and code reviews
• Build features powered by speech technologies such as ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition) and TTS (Text-to-Speech)
• Analyse technical requirements and contribute to scalable, customer-focused solutions
• Ensure software quality through automated testing and continuous improvement practices

What We’re Looking For

• Solid educational background in computer science (HTL, FH, or university)
• Experience in Java and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with Angular
• Familiarity with the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) and performance optimization techniques
• Interest in integrating AI-based technologies like ASR and TTS
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in English & German required
