Position Overview

Based at BanoPuratos UAE, in order to further strengthen our team, we are currently seeking:

Junior R&D Specialist

United Arab Emirates (Sharjah)

The ideal candidate will Support the Internal Audit team in examining and analyzing business records, financial systems, and company assets to assist in risk identification, ensure compliance with internal policies, and contribute to financial performance reviews.

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare solutions, specimens, and samples for testing.
• Maintain and operate standard laboratory equipment and practices.
• Perform mechanical testing to support product development.
• Support ongoing process development and prototype manufacturing through RAP studies depending on priority and relevance of topics
• Document experiments and results in Laboratory notebooks with full traceability.
• Conduct searches on identified topics relevant to the projects ongoing in R&D
• Ensure strict adherence to relevant safety procedures.
• Report the trials findings and set up the next objectives to lead to project closing and sales Report local market trends in coordination with marketing team
• Carry out benchmarking studies for competitor’s products
• Perform competitor analysis of the products on a routine base (mainly bread improvers, cake mixes)
• Support company goals and objectives, policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and FDA regulations
• Always maintain corporate confidentiality.
• Responsible for your team’s payments collection sin accordance with company policies and follow up the necessary to reconcile and recover payment variances.
• Gather market information regarding market trends, competitive activity, and requirements for the development of new and existing products.
• Lead, develop, motivate, and manage a team of members to ensure that Sales, Collections and Gross Margin targets are met.
• Promote safe and health working environment within the company.
  
  

Profile

• 1-3 years of R&D & Quality Control preferably from F&B manufacturing industry.
• Bachelor degree in food science or related field.
• Fluent in English.
• Analytical with very good communication/commercial skills.
• Has a basic applied knowledge and/or interest for food ingredients and applications
  
  

Competencies

• Analytical Willingness to learn and develop auditing and financial analysis skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably)
• Basic knowledge of local tax regulations and accounting functions
• Organized, dependable, and analytical mindset
