Software Engineer - Java & AI/ML

Qualifications and Expectations for the Role

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field (minimum 4 years)
• Experienced in Java programming language
• At least 2 years of hands-on software development experience

Technical Skills and Experience

• Proficient in Java, Spring, Kafka, MySQL, and MongoDB
• Knowledgeable/experienced in data structures, algorithms, and performance analysis
• Familiar with best practices in software engineering, including patterns and unit testing
• Practical experience in data modeling with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Adopted core XP methods such as TDD, Pair Programming, and CI/CD
• Experienced in implementing microservice architectures
• Developed large-scale web applications
• Capable of integrating API-based or self-hosted AI models (e.g., LLMs, visual models) into scalable, reliable, and high-performance production systems
• Made significant contributions to machine learning projects

Cloud and Artificial Intelligence Experience

• Experience working with cloud providers like Google Cloud Platform, AWS, etc.
• Optimized model inference processes (quantization, batching, caching) to achieve low latency and high throughput
• Conducted A/B testing and performance evaluation in real-world environments
• Built and managed AI pipelines, including data preprocessing, model inference, and post-processing
• Experienced with deep learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras
• Containerized and deployed machine learning models as microservices
