About the Role:

As a IP/Transport Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and coordination for Fronthaul, Mid haul and Backhaul deliverables. The role involves collaborating with team leaders and engineering teams and working with third-party partners to implement networking solutions.

Employment type: Fixed term employment

Duration: 2 Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and troubleshooting various networking technologies and protocols
• Ensuring correct implementation of engineering design and network architectures
• Supporting configuration and troubleshooting Cisco and Juniper devices
• Implementing security protocols and ensuring network reliability
• Collaborating with SI partner for DCN rollout, upgrades, new connectivity, documentation, ATP execution, etc
• Collaborating with Operations team for HOTO process, LLD validation, etc

Qualifications:

• Relevant Engineering Degree with relevant work experience of 8+ years in networking
• Strong understanding and hands on experience of networking concepts like TCP/IP, Ethernet, switching, MPLS, VPN, LAN, WAN and SD-WAN and SSL technology
• Familiarity with Juniper and Cisco network devices
• Well versed with Dynamic Routing protocols and IP-MPLS
• Good knowledge about network infrastructure such as different type of fibers, SFPs, Routers, Switches and interconnectivity between Servers, Switches, routers, etc
• Good knowledge of transport protocols, routing protocols, and security/authentication protocols
• Knowledge of Network design and infrastructure, Cloud networking, DNS, Security
• Should have hands on experience on Networking Automation
• Preferred certifications include Cisco CCNA/CCNP
• Should have good analytical skills and troubleshooting experience
• Language Skills : Fluent English is must and preferred German language proficiency
