Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Intelligence Analyst (BIA) to join our team. The BIA will be responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights to support strategic decision-making. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, create reports, build dashboards, and drive data-driven solutions that optimize business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets from various sources (SQL databases, APIs, ERP systems, etc.)
• Design and build interactive dashboards and visualizations using BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
• Generate recurring and ad-hoc reports to support business and client needs
• Partner with business units to define KPIs and develop metrics for performance tracking
• Translate business requirements into actionable data models and insights
• Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process optimization
• Support data integrity efforts and maintain documentation of BI processes
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable format

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field
• 2+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or Data Analyst
• Strong experience in writing SQL queries and working with relational databases
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or Looker
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts
• Strong Excel skills and experience with data modeling
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
