Investment Banking Senior Analyst / Associate

The BNP Paribas Advisory team, part of the the global Investment Banking arm of BNP Paribas which is the largest bank in the Eurozone, counts more than 500 seasoned investment bankers located around the world. We help corporate, institutional and government clients solve their most critical financial challenges. Whether it is to grow, innovate, refinance, acquire or sell their company, we focus on helping them with their most important strategic decisions and transactions.

AND IN DETAIL

• You structure, analyze and execute transactions on behalf of your clients.
• You and your team develop innovative and thought-provoking presentations addressing key strategic questions and potential options for your clients.
• Building and managing complex financial models (operating model, DCF, LBO) is also one of your tasks. By doing this, you help assess transactions as well as develop key transaction documentation.
• You guide and coordinate junior work resources (interns and junior analysts). This includes reviewing financial modelling work and various presentations.
• You manage live deal execution, including coordinating with other advisors, facilitating due diligence and generally ensuring smooth transaction processes.

YOUR TALENTS AND COMPETENCES

• You enjoy working in a team.
• You have an eye for detail and are determined to deliver high quality.
• As a senior analyst, you have 2 to 4 years’ experience with executing M&A transactions involving deal origination, information memorandum preparation and transaction negotiation.
• You know how to manage multiple workstreams while coordinating with clients, external advisors and internal resources.
• You are more than familiar with building and reviewing financial models in MS Excel such as operating, DCF or LBO models.
• You have a master’s degree (or equivalent) in finance, economics, law or other relevant fields.
• You are fluent in English and have a good knowledge of French and Dutch both spoken and written.
