Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Cyber Security Consultant with strong experience in Splunk and Security Operations Center (SOC) environments. This role is part of a centralized Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT), focused on enhancing detection capabilities and improving security visibility across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and refine SIEM detection rules and monitoring use cases using Splunk.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for log ingestion and validation.
• Work with threat intelligence and cyber defense teams to enhance detection strategies.
• Represent CSIRT in stakeholder meetings to ensure relevant log data is captured.
• Build dashboards, generate reports, and support blue team efforts during red team exercises.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Splunk Enterprise Security.
• Proficiency in SPL, KQL, or similar query languages.
• Background in SOC operations or incident response.
• Solid understanding of Windows, Linux, network protocols, and internet technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English; French or Dutch is a plus

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent.

High integrity and ability to manage confidential information responsibly.
