Pay Rate: $55/hr

Schedule: Monday to Friday – Standard Business Hours

We’re seeking a seasoned Systems/Network Engineer to support enterprise data center operations and user device deployments at a large pharmaceutical site. This is a 100% onsite role focused on hosting support, physical infrastructure management, and user laptop issuance.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Data Rooms and IDFs, including cabling, rack elevations, and hardware installations.
• Escort vendors and ensure work is completed to site and compliance standards.
• Receive, track, and document shipments of network/server equipment.
• Perform server/network cabling and smart hands support for hosting and network teams.
• Troubleshoot onsite incidents involving networking and hosting hardware.
• Deploy laptops to approximately 120 end users, including imaging, RAM upgrades, tracking, and user support.
• Provide Hypercare and post-deployment support.
• Assist with AV and printer deployments, UAT testing, and VPN configuration.

✅ Requirements:

• Experience with Data Center Operations, server/network hardware, and structured cabling (Cat5e, Cat6).
• Proficiency in network concepts (LAN/WAN, VLANs, trunks, IP addressing).
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ITSM ticketing systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to support end users.
• Must be able to start ASAP and work onsite in Indianapolis.
• High School Diploma required (Degree/certifications preferred).
