Full Stack Developer

Locations: Sydney, Brisbane, Richmond, Geelong, and Deakin

Contract: 12 month, with 12 month extension

Clearance Requirement: Must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain NV1 Security Clearance

The Full Stack Developer will work with key business stakeholders and the technical team to improve and support projects within the companies' teams.

The role also involves managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders and representing the companies in meetings to support their goals.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate new systems, following industry best practices and the companies' guidelines.
• Design software and CI/CD pipelines, write Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and build containerized apps for Kubernetes.
• Work in an agile team to deliver projects.
• Document all design and development work.
• Take part in code reviews to maintain quality and standards.
• Ensure software meets security and accessibility requirements.
• Work with Business Analysts, Project Leads, and IT teams to solve problems.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to improve testing early in development.

Essential Skills

1. Experience building complex APIs in languages like Golang and JavaScript/TypeScript (using REST or GraphQL).
2. Strong AWS cloud skills, including Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
3. Building containerized apps for Kubernetes (Docker, Helm).
4. Experience creating accessible web apps with React and TypeScript.
5. DevOps skills, including CI/CD pipelines (GitHub/GitLab, Artifactory, HashiCorp Vault).
6. Writing automated tests (unit, integration, functional) and working with QA teams.

Desirable Skills

1. Mobile app development (React Native or similar).
2. Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
3. Database skills (Postgres, MySQL).
4. Experience in all stages of software development (design, coding, reviews, maintenance)
