Hyperloop Recruitment are working with a cutting-edge software scale-up based in Chester who are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join their growing team, on a hybrid working basis.

The successful candidate will be an experienced and talented backend developer, capable of using their own initiative, working to deadlines and an ability to build scalable and reusable web solutions using object-oriented PHP (Laravel, MVC). Prior cloud-based experience & knowledge with AWS would be desirable.

This represents an exciting opportunity to join a progressive scale-up during a period of major growth, working with a small yet highly proficient team of backend developers.

Tech Stack

• Minimum 5 years' commercial experience as a backend web developer
• PHP frameworks (Laravel and/or Symfony)
• MVC
• MySQL
• HTML5/CSS3
• JavaScript
• Test driven development experience
• AWS (EC2, Lambdas, S3)
• Version Control (Git)
• Any React / Node.js / TypeScript experience would be desirable
  
  

The role is paying up to £65,000 (DOE) + benefits and will be on a hybrid basis with 2 days per week in the Chester office. The role is commutable from Birkenhead, Liverpool, Shrewsbury, Warrington, Widnes and Wrexham. To apply, click here!
