My client, a leader in their field are seeking a highly skilled iOS Mobile Developer to join their dynamic team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in iOS development, experience in hybrid working environments, and a passion for delivering high-quality mobile applications. This role involves working across both remote and London-based teams to develop, test, and deploy cutting-edge mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- iOS App Development: Develop and maintain iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and meet business objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers in a cross-functional team to deliver new features and improve existing functionality.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Write unit tests and ensure code quality, performing thorough testing before release to identify and rectify bugs or performance issues.
- Code Reviews: Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to improving the overall quality of the codebase.
- UI/UX: Collaborate with designers to ensure smooth, intuitive, and visually appealing user interfaces.
- Integration: Work with backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs, ensuring smooth data communication and optimizing performance.
- Agile Methodology: Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.
- Frameworks & Tools: Experience with key iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, and familiarity with Xcode.
- API Integration: Strong experience in integrating third-party APIs and RESTful services.
- Version Control: Proficient with Git and source code management.
- UI/UX: Solid understanding of UI/UX best practices for mobile applications.
- Agile Experience: Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.
