We are hiring a Senior NodeJS Backend Developer for SmartTV to join our team! 🚀

As a Senior Developer, you will play a key role in the development, customization, and maintenance of applications and backend systems for Smart TV platforms. This position looks for experience in Smart TV development environments, multimedia technologies, and a deep understanding of scalable, high-performance architectures, with the goal of delivering exceptional experiences across a wide range of devices.

Your Key Tasks Will Be

• Be part of the Agile TV team, contributing to the development and evolution of leading TV products and services, providing the best TV experience (https://www.agile-tv.es/).
• Participate in the development of new products and the enhancement of existing ones, contributing to architectural decisions (e.g., Next-Generation TV Platform).
• Design and implement new features to support backend modules and improve platform functionality.
• Develop high-performance, reliable, secure, and scalable applications.
• Act as a mentor for other team members.
  
  

You Must Have

• 5+ years of experience in backend development with NodeJS.
• Expertise in software development best practices (SOLID, Clean Code), including optimization, documentation, and testing.
• Strong knowledge of NodeJS with Express, Nest or fastify, and dependency injection.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience with multithreading, concurrency, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Proficiency with Git and version control best practices.
• Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Fluent in Spanish (C1/C2) and English (B1+ or higher).
• Must be residing in Spain with a valid work permit.
