What You Can Expect In This Role

• Build and maintain responsive web interfaces using Preact and TypeScript
• Implement clean, modular, and scalable styles with CSS Modules
• Collaborate closely with designers, product owners, QAs, and backend engineers to deliver polished and user-friendly features
• Participate in code reviews, write tests, and contribute to frontend architecture decisions
• Be actively involved in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within an Agile team
• Continuously improve the performance, accessibility, and maintainability of our frontend codebase
  
  

Your Essential Experience And Education

• 3+ years of frontend experience with TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS
• Solid experience with Preact or React including state management libraries (e.g. Redux), and modular CSS (e.g., CSS Modules)
• Good understanding of modern build tools (e.g., Vite, Webpack) and their configuration for performance and workflows
• Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus) and a growth mindset
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and practical experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). Familiarity with goal-setting frameworks like OKRs is a plus.
• Strong attention to UI/UX details and ability to collaborate effectively with design teams
• Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git (e.g., branching, merging, pull requests)
• Strong debugging skills and proficiency with browser developer tools
• Bonus: Experience with performance, accessibility, animations, or open source contributions

The salary for this position is at least €60,000 gross annually, with higher compensation depending on qualifications, experience, and additional expertise.
