Innovation Project Manager

As New Project Launch (NPL)/Innovation Project Manager at La Prairie Global Headquarters, you will play a pivotal role in the execution of our innovation pipeline, you will lead the project core team to ensure OTIF of assigned projects .

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving successful product innovation and market entry.

How you will create a beautiful impact:

• Ensuring on-time and in-full (OTIF) management of all New Product Launch (NPL) projects, encompassing launches, relaunches, and reformulations, to meet critical market demands and business objectives.
• Proactively preparing comprehensive decision-making fundamentals, anticipating potential risks, and escalating critical issues as needed to ensure smooth project progression.
• Articulating compelling project presentations to key gatekeepers, securing necessary approvals and alignment for successful project execution.
• Providing goal-oriented functional leadership to the NPL Core Team members, including the Brand Manager, Formula Developer, Packaging Engineer, and Supply Chain Project Lead, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Strategically steering cross-functional resources to maximize project profitability and optimize the return on investment for each new initiative.
• Serving as a trusted consultant to project owners (Global Marketing Managers), representing an entrepreneurial perspective within the project gates to ensure commercially viable and successful outcomes.
• Collaborating closely with project owners to clarify project briefings and objectives, establishing a clear roadmap for execution from the outset.
• Driving continuous improvement of the NPL process in close cooperation with the NPL Leadership team, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Acting consistently in the overall company's best interests, transcending individual functional interests to achieve holistic organizational success.
  
  

What you need to have to be our next audacious and creative talent:

• University Degree
• Several years of job experience in Marketing, Supply Chain, Packaging or R&D (core team experience is a plus), Experience in more than one function desirable.
• Project management skills & capable of leading and handling multiple cross-functional teams and initiatives
• Entrepreneurial spirit and very good analytical skills, combined with very good interpersonal & presentation skills
• Strong implementation skills, assertiveness and strong conflict management as well as a pronounced ability to manage complexity
• Acts in the overall company interests and independent of functional interests
• Team-oriented, open and proactive with an international mindset
• Strong result orientation and performance focus, with strong motivation
• Reliable, adaptable & able to work under pressure
• Acts in a pragmatic and solution-driven as well as proactive and assertive way
• Ability to drive change & strives for continuous improvement
