Junior Analyst / Clinical Data Moduler

We are looking for a junior analyst to join our team!

At Better we are building software solutions that help medical teams improve patient care. Our advanced open-data medical platform and healthcare applications already support over 30 million patients’ electronic health records worldwide, making data quality our number one priority.

This is where you come in as our new Junior Analyst / Clinical Data Modeller. You will support the analysis, design, and development of business and clinical data solutions across the Better Platform and related projects. Your focus will be on developing clinical data models and forms, documenting requirements, and contributing to initiatives that drive digital transformation in healthcare. Working alongside senior colleagues and cross-functional teams, you will ensure that business needs are met on time, within scope, and in line with industry standards.

Skills and expertise you need to excel in this position:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in medicine, dentistry, or nursing with an interest in computer science / informatics
• Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal
• Previous work in a clinical setting and/or knowledge of healthcare systems is an advantage, but not a requirement
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data models and standards into understandable formats for both technical and clinical audiences
• A self-motivated, driven and tenacious individual, able to build trust and empathy with customers and internal stakeholders
• Excellent organizational skills, effectively managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while upholding the highest ethical standards
• Willingness to develop and maintain knowledge about:
• Healthcare standards – openEHR, HL7, FHIR
• Tools like Archetype Designer, Better Studio and Clinical Knowledge Manager (CKM)
• Clinical coding terminologies (e.g., SNOMED CT)
• Healthcare regulations and interoperability

How will you drive success in this role through your daily actions?

• Provide clinical consulting and openEHR expertise to internal teams and customers
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable clinical data models using openEHR, Archetype Designer, and Better Studio
• Ensure models meet quality, usability, and stakeholder requirements through testing and iterative refinement
• Stay current with healthcare standards to ensure interoperability
• Translate clinical and business needs into technical specifications and tailored healthcare solutions
• Facilitate workshops, training, and stakeholder engagement to support knowledge sharing and project success
• Support full project lifecycles, including risk communication, documentation, and pre-sales activities
