Position Overview

As our HR Generalist, you will be a key point of contact for our employees and play a crucial role in supporting our company's success. You will be involved in a wide range of HR functions, from ensuring accurate payroll processing to attracting and onboarding talented individuals and facilitating employee development. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter who enjoys a diverse workload and is comfortable working independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Payroll Administration: Serve as the primary liaison with our external payroll provider, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll, including gathering necessary employee data, reviewing payroll reports, and addressing employee payroll inquiries.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Support the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing candidates through various channels, screening applications, coordinating and scheduling interviews, and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires.
  • HR Programs and Training: Coordinate the logistics and administration of HR training programs and initiatives, working with internal stakeholders and external vendors as needed. This may include scheduling sessions, managing participant communication, and tracking completion.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • HR Recordkeeping and Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with local labor laws and company policies. Assist with HR audits and reporting requirements.
  • Office Administration: Provide general office administration support, including managing office supplies, coordinating office maintenance, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and assisting with other administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Special Projects: Participate in various HR-related projects and initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
  • Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken) is essential.
  • Solid understanding of Austrian labor law and HR best practices.
  • Familiarity with payroll processes and working with external payroll providers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Google Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) software.
