Research Engineer (1-year contract), RISE

Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for conducting research on LLM supply chain security. The aim is to collect LLM applications and develop the software component analysis. Successful candidate will be part of an active research team led by Prof XIE Xiaofei from School of Computing and Information Systems, Singapore Management University.

Candidate's Core Responsibilities Are

• Design methods to collect LLM applications, including web application, mobile application and others.
• Implement the method to automatically analyze the components of the LLM APPs.
• Construct the vulnerability dataset for the components.
• Write research paper.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines from a reputable institution of higher learning
• Minimum 1 years of relevant research experience in AI, data analysis or cybersecurity
• Basic knowledge/Proficiency in programming software/languages such as Python and Java will be positively considered/ is required
• Demonstrated experience and know-how on software analysis and data analysis
• Experience with at least one programming software/languages, such as Python, C or Java is preferred
• Excellent working knowledge of data analysis, program analysis and vulnerability analysis
• Good analytical, technical and problem solving skills
• Applicants with research publications in AI, software engineering and cybersecurity area will be advantageous
• Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members
