Description
Global Fleet & Products Analytics (GFPA) is looking for a Business Analyst (BA) that will work with business customers to design and engineer analyses that drive operational excellence for Amazon’s Last Mile delivery operations. This Business Analyst will join BI team that uses 3P data and data from internal partner teams and deliver data/analytic products that influence business critical decisions that scale our fast growing, global delivery fleet.
Responsibilities
Use expertise in qualitative and quantitative analysis to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders
Use skills with business intelligence tools (e.g. QuickSight) to solve complex business problems with intuitive metrics and visualizations.
Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing and ad-hoc metrics, reports, and analyses that drive optimizations in our fleet
Define data elements to enable analytical and reporting capabilities, and work cross-functionally with other tech teams and country business teams
Solve complex business problems that optimize and enhance all AMZL fleet operations
Explore and develop expertise with internal Amazon data services and public AWS products including Redshift, QuickSight, Lambda/Glue, and more

- Experience in business or financial analysis
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- Master's degree in business or analytical discipline
