Intermediate-Level Software Developer (Full Stack – Backend Focus)

📍 In-office near Ste. Anne, MB (hybrid possible) | 💼 Full-time | 💰 $55K–$80K + Benefits

We’re a small dev team building a custom app for a nation-wide faith-based insurance organization.

We’ve built a custom web app that powers their policy management operations — from issuing policies to processing changes to tracking payments. You’ll be joining a team of 3 developers and 1 product manager.

• Plan and scope features with the team
• Build and test backend and frontend components
• Pair up occasionally on tricky work
• Contribute to sprint planning, standups & retros
• Collaborate with a small, friendly team that values autonomy
  

• Backend: PHP + Laravel
• Frontend: React + TypeScript
• Styling: Tailwind, MUI
• Testing: Pest
• Hosting: AWS
• Source Control: GitHub

• Experience with Laravel and PHP
• Bonus: SQL, Pest, TypeScript, React
• A team-first mindset and strong communication
• Interest in building real software that helps real people

This is an in-office role near Ste. Anne, MB — a peaceful, rural location with fresh air and no downtown traffic. Hybrid flexibility possible.

• Salary: $55,000–$80,000 based on experience
• Benefits: Dental and extended health
• Full-time, permanent
• Must be eligible to work in Canada (no visa sponsorship)
