Java Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Developer to join our clients dynamic development team in Luxembourg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust Java-based applications that support key business functions and contribute to long-term technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable Java applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (analysts, testers, DevOps) to define and deliver technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices in software development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, test, and production environments.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to system architecture discussions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in Java development (Java SE/EE).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and design patterns.
• Experience with frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or Jakarta EE.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Proficient with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools.
• Good understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL).
