Cyber Security Specialist

Connexus are currently supporting a well established Government Organisation in their search for a Cyber Security Specialist.

The role reports to their IT Security Manager and is hybrid from an office in Dublin 2. Salary is circa €50,000 plus benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to security incidents & and efficiently resolve issues to safeguard systems and data across the organisation.
• Work on trying to identify possible infrastructure vulnerabilities and resolve any issues.
• Manage security for devices and applications across the organisation.
• Conduct risk assessments for new projects, technologies and services.
• Collect & analyse threat intelligence data.
• Perform log and malware analysis.
• Run internal audit programs to ensure security controls align with organisational policies.

Requirements:

• Relevant Level 8 Degree.
• 3+ years experience with Microsoft Technologies including Azure, PowerShell, KQL and Microsoft Defender.
• Knowledge of network and networking protocols.
