Job Title: Network Engineer – Extreme Networks Solutions

12 Months contract Role

GERMANY, Stuttgart based – 5 days on site / Maybe Flexible

Must hold the right to work in Germany (For a Contractor)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Network Engineer to design, deploy, and manage resilient network infrastructures using Extreme Networks technologies. This role focuses on advanced networking, wireless, and security solutions across manufacturing, plant, and office environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain scalable network architectures using ExtremeSwitching, ExtremeRouting, and ExtremeWireless.
• Deploy and configure Extreme Networks hardware (7X, 5X, 2X series), including VLANs, stacking, and routing protocols.
• Implement wireless solutions with cloud-driven management and seamless connectivity.
• Use ExtremeAnalytics to monitor and optimize performance; apply application analytics for critical traffic.
• Enforce security with ExtremeControl (NAC) and threat protection using ExtremeSecurity tools

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Extreme Networks products and solutions.
• Strong knowledge of network design, implementation, and management.
• Hands-on experience with NAC, VXLAN, Fabric Connect, and wireless solutions.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
