Zepto is a fast-growing startup that delivers groceries in 10 minutes flat through an optimized network of dark stores that we're building across the country! We’re scaling up rapidly across India with operations live across Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi NCR, Chennai, Pune, and Hyderabad.

We are incredibly well funded – we recently announced fundraising from Indian and Global investors that include Y Combinator, Nexus Venture Partners, Glade Brook, and more! We’ve also built out one of the best startup teams in India, with Senior Executives from Uber, Flipkart, Dream11, and institutions like Stanford, INSEAD, IIM, and IIT.

Your Role

• Take ownership of business metrics end to end from extracting and exploring data, generating hypotheses, building a structured analysis, and rigorously evaluating methods and results
• Drive topline and bottom-line improvements for category(s), business & product verticals.
• Drive implementation of analytical and valuable insights by working closely with the Data Engineering team, cross-functional Product Team, Business & Operations Team, & Engineering Team
• Evaluate data required for decisions, identify sources of appropriate data, own up to the sanity/accuracy of available data, ensure transformations for the right decision-making
• Monitor highlight health of a business by developing metric dashboards to track success performance metrics for business functions
• Influence business stakeholders to drive change management in the organization for insights adoption on the ground.
• Create and Drive a culture of learning through experimentation

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Statistics / Math / Engineering / Economics / Finance
• 5+ years in delivering analytical results
• Proficient in business intelligence tools and data warehouse i.e. SQL, MS Power BI, and MS Excel, etc.
• Must be data-savvy and love crunching numbers
• Strong analytical and statistical analysis skills in order to extract insights and recommendations
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills (both written and verbal
• Go-getter attitude and willingness to be hands-on with a strong ability to communicate and work collaboratively with others
• You have demonstrated experience in working across multiple products, and various stakeholders and exerted a high degree of influence across several teams/functions leading to successful outcomes.
• Ability to think out of the box to ideate and build solutions that are differentiated in a competitive industry
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver tangible business impact in time-critical situations
