Senior Network Engineer

Our client is looking for a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting our Cisco solution. This role will involve providing level 2/3 support, monitoring, maintenance, and implementing ongoing enhancements to optimize our network security.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the Cisco solution across the organization
  • Provide level 2/3 support for issues or incidents
  • Monitor and maintain the Cisco solution to ensure optimal performance
  • Implement new features and enhancements to improve network security
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Cisco with other network components
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices related to network security technology
  • Managing of switch configuration templates

Requirements

  • Must hold a Cisco Certified Network Professional certification (CCNP) or CCNP Security certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on Cisco networking
  • Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices
  • Experience with implementing and managing Cisco in a global environment
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
