Our client is a dynamic and innovative organization at the forefront of the Web3 ecosystem. Due to ambitious and well-funded expansion plans, they are seeking to hire a Mid-Level Trading Officer to join their dynamic team.

Role Overview:

As the Trading Officer, you will play a key role in executing large block trades, managing and nurturing client relationships, and contributing to the overall strategic growth of the OTC desk. In this position, you will work closely with institutional clients and market participants to ensure efficient and profitable transactions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record in OTC trading, with a preference for experience in cryptocurrency markets. You will be expected to leverage your market knowledge, analytical skills, and network to drive business expansion and support the growth objectives of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trade Execution: Facilitate OTC cryptocurrency trades while prioritizing optimal execution and minimizing market disruption.
• Market Analysis: Keep track of the cryptocurrency market to spot potential trading opportunities and offer valuable insights to clients.
• Client Management: Foster and sustain relationships with institutional clients, ensuring top-notch service and ongoing support.
• Risk Management: Work closely with the risk team to assess exposure and adhere to regulatory compliance standards.
• Strategy Development: Play an active role in crafting trading strategies and enhancing trading systems and procedures.
• Exchange Workflows: Apply expertise in exchange operations to streamline trade execution and settlement.
• Reporting: Keep detailed records of trading activities and generate periodic reports for management.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• Trading Experience: Minimum of 3 years in OTC trading, ideally within cryptocurrencies or financial markets.
• Exchange Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of exchange trading workflows and operational processes.
• Market & Tech Knowledge: Strong grasp of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and trading platforms.
• Strong understanding of exchange trading operations, including order types, matching engines, and settlement procedures.
• Skilled in quantitative analysis and financial modeling techniques.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capable of thriving in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
• Certifications such as CFA, FRM, or CAIA are advantageous.
