Senior Project Manager

We’re working with a global insurance client undergoing one of the largest cloud application migrations in Belgium - and we’re looking for a hands-on IT Project Coordinator to help make it happen.

If you're someone who thrives in complex technical environments, who knows how to coordinate between application and infrastructure teams, and who enjoys rolling up their sleeves to get things delivered - this could be your next contract.

The Role: This is not a senior programme management role. This is for someone who’s experienced in coordinating infrastructure activities, managing daily progress, and driving delivery by working cross-functionally with application owners and production support teams. Roughly 80% of your time will be coordination - facilitating testing, chasing actions, escalating blockers, and ensuring daily alignment across teams. The remaining 20% requires infrastructure knowledge - being technically literate enough to challenge and support solutions (cloud, data centre, network, etc).

• Location: Brussels (Hybrid – 2 days per week on-site)
• Contract Length: 12-month contract (potential for extension)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Languages: English + French or Dutch
• Day Rate: €(Competitive & Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily tasks across app and infra teams (cutover, testing, fixes, etc)
• Track and report progress, flag risks, escalate blockers, maintain momentum
• Liaise with application owners, infra/production support, and business teams
• Provide regular and structured updates to stakeholders
• Understand the technical context (cloud, infra, networking, hosting) to help guide decisions and troubleshooting
• Act as the single point of coordination across a wide-ranging cloud and infrastructure programme

Ideal Profile

• Strong experience as a project coordinator or technical project manager
• Solid grounding in IT infrastructure, cloud (AWS/Azure), and application delivery
• Track record of hands-on delivery (no team management or high-level PMO work)
• Confident working in fast-moving technical environments
• Comfortable “chasing” in a diplomatic and effective way
• Previous experience in application or infrastructure migrations is a plus
