Are you a Junior Developer with a good foundation in JavaScript and Typescript looking to make your mark on a fast-growing digital platform?

WRK digital are delighted to be shortlisting for a Junior Developer to join a small, agile team working on a cutting-edge online digital platform. You’ll help shape and deliver the technical roadmap, scale existing infrastructure, and help drive innovation across our product offering.

🌟 What You’ll Do

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Participate in code reviews and receive mentorship from experienced team members.
• Debug and troubleshoot technical issues in development and production environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Customer Success, Marketing & Design to build and ship new features.
• Assist in writing and maintaining documentation for internal tools and systems.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and development practices.

🧠 What We’re Looking For

• Familiarity with full stack Javascript (Node JS / React)
• Understanding of fundamental programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
• Basic knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Analytical mindset and creative thinker.
• A strong growth mindset and willingness to learn. Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal with the ability to interact successfully with team members or occasionally clients by video conferencing and phone as well as face to face, in person.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and databases (SQL or NoSQL).
