Data Engineer- Python, SQL

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong Python and SQL skills to join our team in Warsaw. This role involves working on the Loaniq loan module, designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, and ensuring data quality within PostgreSQL systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain data pipelines for the PostgreSQL database used in the Loaniq loan module

Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications

Implement robust data models to ensure data integrity and optimal performance

Utilize Python for data manipulation ETL Extract Transform Load processes and data analysis

Monitor and optimize data workflows for performance and reliability

Document data engineering processes data models and technical specifications

Required Skills:

Proficiency in Python and SQL with experience in PostgreSQL

Strong understanding of data engineering principles and best practices

Experience with data modeling and database design

Familiarity with ETL tools and frameworks

Optional skills

Knowledge of automated testing frameworks preferably with Selenium

Familiarity with Appian is advantageous

Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and collaboration abilities
