Lucida AI is transforming how people build their English speaking skills using AI-powered, touch-free conversations. With millions of downloads and a rapidly growing global user base, we're now looking for a Product Designer to help shape delightful, engaging, and habit-forming user experiences in our mobile app and subscription journey.

In this role, you'll be working on our core mobile product, crafting intuitive user interfaces that help users onboard easily, talk to our avatar Lucy effortlessly, and convert into loyal subscribers. If you love turning complex AI technologies into simple and joyful designs — this is your place.

What You'll Do

Design user flows that maximize user retention and subscription conversion
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to ship features that feel magical, from avatar conversations to real-time reports
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for iOS and Android
Conduct usability testing to refine the UX across the onboarding, conversation, and payment flows
Ensure consistent UI across the app with a clear design system and accessibility standards
Stay ahead of mobile design trends, especially in language learning, AI, and subscription models

Requirements

What We're Looking For

3+ years of experience in mobile product design, preferably in consumer apps or edtech
Experience designing subscription-based apps or growth-focused user journeys (freemium models, paywalls, etc.)
Strong skills in Figma (and bonus if you've worked with Lottie, ProtoPie, or Motion)
Solid understanding of user-centered design and data-driven iteration
Experience running user research and usability tests
A sharp eye for visual design, typography, and motion
Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills — you're comfortable working cross-functionally with PMs, engineers, and marketers
