Network Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and technically strong Network Operations Engineer to support the day-to-day operations of our mission-critical network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with network monitoring, incident response, firewall operations, and supporting large-scale, multi-vendor networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain the health of the network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi) using monitoring tools.
• Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and escalate complex problems to L3/network engineering teams.
• Support and maintain firewalls (FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, etc.), VPNs, and network security policies.
• Operate and maintain Cisco Meraki SD-WAN devices, switches, and access points across multiple premises location.
• Perform day-to-day network operations including changes, patching, backup, and configuration updates.
• Assist with firmware upgrades, policy deployment, and configuration changes via tools.
• Log and document all incidents, changes, and resolutions in accordance with ITIL standards.
• Perform network checks, compliance tasks, and ensure security baselines are enforced.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years in a network operations or support role (NOC/Operations Center)
• Strong hands-on experience with firewalls (FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA)
• Experience with Cisco/Meraki SD-WAN, switching, and wireless platforms
• Experience supporting high-availability, regulated, or critical environments (banking, telco, or casino is a plus)
• Familiar with ticketing and monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix, ServiceNow)

Certifications (Preferred):

• CCNA / CCNP
• Fortinet NSE (1–3 or higher)
• PCNSA / PCNSE (Palo Alto)
• ITIL Foundation (an advantage)
