What You’ll Do

As Lead Product Designer, you'll form and drive our product experience strategy, defining how users interact with our platform to maximise adoption, engagement, and satisfaction. You’ll collaborate closely with our engineering and product teams to ensure the platform our customers have grown to trust grows into something as easy to use as it is beautiful.

Product Design & Experience

• Establish and lead Yomly's UX/UI design strategy across web and mobile;
• Own our design system, ensuring visual and interaction consistency across mobile & web;
• Conduct user research and testing to refine the product experience;
• Create prototypes, and collaborate with engineers to bring them to our customers;
• Structure intuitive workflows and optimise information architecture;
• Ensure accessibility compliance and implement usability best practices.

Strategic Leadership & Influence

• Drive company-wide design thinking and product experience strategy;
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering, and Marketing teams;
• Make data-driven design decisions using analytics and user feedback;
• Present designs and articulate decisions to key stakeholders;
• Mentor colleagues on design best practices.

Innovation & Execution

• Establish scalable usability and interaction frameworks;
• Implement A/B testing to validate design decisions;
• Ensure designs perform across different devices and user demographics;
• Explore AI-driven UX improvements and smart recommendations;
• Form and lead the Product Design function (as individual contributor);
• Scale Product Design at Yomly, contributing to hiring and standards.

What you bring:

• Proven experience leading Product Design in SaaS;
• Strong proficiency in Figma, Zeplin, Adobe XD or equivalent tools;
• Deep understanding of interaction design and usability principles;
• Experience with front-end frameworks and design handoff processes;
• Expertise in user research and data-driven design;
• Strong visual design skills with focus on accessibility;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management;
• Experience in Agile or Lean UX environments.

Bonus Experience:

• Background in HR tech and/or B2B enterprise applications;
• Knowledge of front-end development;
• Experience with AI-driven design (e.g. Uizard) and automation;
• Understanding of motion design and microinteractions;
• Familiarity with internationalisation and localisation design best practices.
